我一直想要一个 Chrome 翻译插件，它可以直接在页面上输出翻译结果，而不需要在翻译工具之间来回 copy/paste 切换。我知道市面上有很多类似的插件，他们可以自动翻译你的整个网页，并且功能也非常强大。但是很多时候我只想翻译一小段文字，而不是整个网页，这样的好处是，我可以在锻炼外文阅读能力的同时，又不会过分依赖于插件。
所以我就写了这个小工具，它可以在页面上直接翻译你选中的文字，并且实时输出到选中文字的下方。这样在保持页面整洁的同时，又可以方便地查看翻译结果。
由于我使用了 ChatGPT 作为翻译引擎，所以它不仅仅能够支持多种语言的互译，还能够翻译的足够流畅和清晰易懂，如果你有经常阅读外文资料，报刊杂志，电子邮件的需求，那么这个插件一定能够完美地完成这些任务。
我已经将它发布到了 Chrome 商店，你可以在 这里 下载。 另外一点说明，该插件目前可以免费使用，但是由于我使用了 ChatGPT 作为翻译引擎，因此需要在插件配置页面填写你的 OpenAI API Key，你的Key会存储到你本地的 Chrome storage 里面，因此不用担心会有Key被泄露的风险。插件的使用本身是免费的，只是在使用过程中会消耗你自己的 API Key 的使用额度。如果你没有 OpenAI API Key，可以在 这里 注册一个 OpenAI 的账号，并生成自己的 API Key。

I’ve always wanted a Chrome translation plugin that could display translations directly on the page, eliminating the need to constantly switch between copy/pasting and translation tools. I’m aware there are many similar plugins on the market that can automatically translate entire web pages and are quite powerful. However, often I only want to translate a small section of text, not the entire page. This approach lets me improve my foreign language reading skills without overly relying on the plugin.
So, I created this small tool. It can translate text you select on a page and display the translation immediately below the selected text. This maintains the page’s cleanliness while allowing you to conveniently view the translation results.
Since I used ChatGPT as the translation engine, it supports translations between multiple languages and ensures the translations are smooth and easy to understand. If you often read foreign language materials, newspapers, magazines, or emails, this plugin will perfectly suit your needs.

Additionally, this plugin is currently free to use, but since it utilizes ChatGPT as its translation engine, you need to enter your OpenAI API Key in the plugin’s configuration page. Your Key will be stored in your local Chrome storage, so there’s no risk of it being leaked. The plugin itself is free, but using it will consume your API Key’s usage quota. If you don’t have an OpenAI API Key, you can register an OpenAI account here and generate your own API Key.

Chromeの翻訳プラグインがずっと欲しかったんです。それはページ上で直接翻訳結果を表示できるもので、翻訳ツール間でコピー＆ペーストを繰り返す必要がないものです。市場には多くの類似プラグインがあり、全てのウェブページを自動翻訳し、機能も非常に強力です。しかし、多くの場合、私は全ページではなく、小さなテキスト部分だけを翻訳したいのです。この方法なら、外国語の読解力を鍛えながら、プラグインへの依存を避けることができます。
そこで、この小さなツールを作りました。これは、ページ上で選択したテキストを直接翻訳し、選択したテキストの下にリアルタイムで出力します。これにより、ページをきれいに保ちながら、翻訳結果を便利に確認できます。
ChatGPTを翻訳エンジンとして使用しているため、多言語間の翻訳をサポートし、滑らかで分かりやすい翻訳が可能です。外国語の資料、新聞、雑誌、電子メールをよく読む方には、このプラグインがぴったりです。

さらに、このプラグインは現在無料で利用できますが、ChatGPTを翻訳エンジンとして使用しているため、プラグインの設定ページでOpenAI APIキーを入力する必要があります。キーはローカルのChromeストレージに保存されるので、漏洩のリスクはありません。プラグイン自体は無料ですが、使用するとAPIキーの使用枠が消費されます。OpenAI APIキーがない場合は、こちらでOpenAIアカウントを登録し、自分のAPIキーを生成できます。
